Living in the Garden of Nâm: Why silence?

We frequently receive questions about the Garden of Nâm.

Questions like: Why is there silence in the Garden of Nâm? So we tried to put it in words.

Silence in the Garden of Nâm

People living in and visiting the Garden of Yoginâm wish to be in a state of silence. This silence is a state in which we share something very special: the respect and love we all share for Yoginâm.

This state of silence has nothing to do with not talking, though it is often the natural consequence of it. For practical matters, of course, there is regular communication, but the love for Yoginâm and the concentration on that love always prevails over the rest; personal stories become irrelevant in our shared love.

We jointly take care of that what came to Yoginâm. In it we discover the deepest level of our own being; where words, having another purpose than that, are non sensical.

Indeed, loving Yoginâm is not like loving a partner, a brother, or anyone in particular. Loving Yoginâm brings one to the deepest level of one’s existence. Anyone is welcome to join in our shared love.
