Ullrich Zimmermann is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with more than 25 years of experience. In the United States he received a thorough education in classical massage, specializing in deep tissue and trigger point work. Since then he has developed his own style of massage which gives not only deep relaxation, but also addresses existing issues within the muscles and fascias of the body. During a personal talk with the client, the right approach will be determined.
In the serenity of The Garden of Nam, surrounded by mountains, olive trees, and open sky, this retreat invites you to reconnect with your body and inner stillness. Through gentle stretching, isometric exercises, meditation, and massage practice, you’ll rediscover balance — between strength and softness, effort and ease.
Whether you join for 3 or 5 days, this is a time to recharge your body, clear your mind, and nourish your inner vitality.
On the first day you arrive in the afternoon (airport shuttle service available), move into your cozy room and have a cup of tea in the serene atmosphere of the Garden of Nam. We will have a meditation, an introduction talk and a tasty and healthy meal for dinner.
The following two days we start with a stretching class before breakfast and follow the daily meditation schedule. Some time during the day you will receive a professional massage and we have another optional stretching exercise. These days are a gift you give to yourself — feel free to visit the village, the beach (driving available upon request) or do some volunteer work in the garden in your spare time.
A stay in the Garden of Nam unfolds its benefits and magic gradually and you are starting to actually ‘arrive’ in your own pace. We close the wellness event after breakfast the day of your departure.
The 5-day wellness event follows the same schedule as the 3-day event with an optional exercise class in the afternoon. This will provide a more intense wellness experience.
In this format we offer, next to the daily massage, your own active involvement by learning to massage certain areas of your body yourself. The stretching exercises will reveal the parts of your body that need extra attention. This will provide beneficial support for the unfolding physiological changes.
