DESCRIPTION:Description \nForgiveness is an inner path of gentle strength\, in which space arises for liberation. In this retreat\, we invite you to pause and reflect on what you carry with you: old pain\, unspoken grief\, fixed beliefs\, or resentment that may have settled unnoticed. Not to analyze it again\, but to meet it with attention and gentleness\, exactly as it presents itself now. Forgiveness here is not a goal in itself\, but an inner movement. A softening in which you may awaken from automatic patterns\, from stories of lack or guilt\, and from identification with what once caused hurt. In this openness\, space arises: for clarity\, compassion\, and a deeper awareness of who you essentially are. During the retreat\, we work with silence\, meditation\, guided reflections\, and experiential exercises. You are invited to look at yourself and the other with gentleness\, and to experience how forgiveness unfolds naturally when resistance is allowed to soften. In that space\, something can awaken that was always already present: a quiet\, free presence no longer bound to the past. This retreat is an invitation to come home to yourself. Not by adding something\, but by letting go of what no longer serves. \nPractical information \nGeneral info \nWe are guests at the retreat and meditation centre “The Garden of Nâm” in Nijar\, Andalusia\, where you can immerse yourself in an oasis of silence. A stay at this centre will leave you with new sources of energy and deep insights into yourself and your relationship with the world around you. A rejuvenating and revitalizing experience! At this beautiful location\, we are welcomed by the resident community\, who respectfully embraces this retreat. As a group\, we respect the daily customs of this community. One of those customs is that three Asha meditations are held every day. You may participate in these at your own choosing. Before or after each meditation\, there is a meal\, in silence. Our programme takes place in 2 to 3 parts spread throughout the day. There is ample time for silence\, contemplation\, processing\, writing\, and being alone with yourself. \nPlanning \nDATES: 01 – 07 NOVEMBER 2026 \n\n01 November: arrival day\n02 to 06 November: retreat\nWith 04 November as a free day (optional) hiking day trip to Huebro\n07 November: departure day\n\nThere are no direct flights to Almería airport in November. It is possible to fly to Almería with Vueling (connection in Barcelona) or with Iberia (connection in Madrid). You can be picked up from Almería airport. Another option is to fly into Granada\, Malaga\, or Alicante. From there\, you can rent a car or van (possibly together with others).
